ARMED BANK ROBBER INDICTEDMemphis, TN - David Kustoff, United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee, announced today that CEDRIC MOORE, age 36, of Memphis, Tennessee, was indicted in federal court for armed bank robbery and using a firearm during a crime of violence in connection with the April 26, 2006 robbery of the Sun Trust Bank at 3585 Hacks Cross in Memphis. Moore faces a maximum of life imprisonment and a fine not to exceed $500,000. He is presently a fugitive. The case was investigated by the Robbery Bureau of the Memphis Police Department and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tony Arvin. Note: Charges brought against a person through an indictment are accusations only. That person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. |
