Camden Woman Sentenced for Her Role in Bank Robbery

 

Jackson, TN -   Pam Wilson, age 45, of Camden, Tennessee, was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison and 3 years supervised release on September 25, 2008 by Judge J. Daniel Breen announced Lawrence J. Laurenzi, Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee.  Wilson was also ordered to pay, jointly with co-defendants,  $3139.00 in restitution to Regions Bank in Martin.

In March 2008, Pam Wilson, Edward Tharpe, and LaToya Wilson were indicted on one count of bank robbery and one count of using a firearm during the robbery of Regions Bank in Martin, Tennessee.  Pam Wilson and LaToya Wilson plead guilty to Count One of the indictment in June of 2008.  LaToya Wilson is scheduled to be sentenced in October 2008 and Edward Tharpe is scheduled in court September 30, 2008.

This case was investigated by the Martin Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  Assistant United States Attorney Victor L. Ivy is handling the case for the government.
