Members of the Safe Streets Task Force have arrested and charged four individuals in connections with the robberies of the Studio 6 Hotel, located at 4300 American Way, which was robbed on October 27, 2008 and the Days Inn Hotel, located at 2889 Austin Peay on November 6, 2008.

They suspects arrested are:
Lashawnese Jones, female, 19 years of age
Kody Evans, male, 21 years of age
Tommie Dunn, male, 20 years of age
Albert Nelson, male, 20 years of age

The female would enter the business and check for security and guests in the lobby. She would exit and signal the crew to commit the robbery. The suspects would enter the hotel and demand money from the hotel clerk.

The investigation in this case is ongoing and additional State and Federal Charges are anticipated.

The Safe Streets Task Force is investigating this robbery. The Task Force is comprised of members of the Memphis Police Department, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
